Adult Dance, Yoga, Pilates:
Adults participating in our dance, yoga and/or pilates classes may pay $15 rate per class,
or purchase a Package Card: $80 up front; 8 classes at $10 per class. The card may be used in any of our adult offerings and require one hole punch per class...your card never expires!
Parents with children enrolled in our full time classes may take a 50% discount from adult rates; $5.00 per class.
Youth Dance Classes, ages 3-18:

All youth registrations must occur in person at the CORE Academy office.
Payments are collected one of two ways; IN FULL or broken up EQUALLY into TEN parts. For your ease, we collect payments Sept-June. Regardless of those months where 5 lessons occur, where holiday breaks occur, etc. There are TEN EQUAL payments.

Tuition is based on a 10 month schedule for the 2010 school year. If you pay monthly, you are choosing to separate your payment EQUALLY regardless of the quantity per month. If you choose to pay up front, we calculate from start date through June.
How does CORE compare in cost: CORE's lessons follow an organized syllabus in each discipline. We've broken the payment methods down to better suit your budgeting needs and we still pride ourselves on our professionally experienced, college/university graduate staff; your kids will never be taught by a non-professional. |

Payment of Tuition:
Military families- please inform us of your active and reserve family status. For 2010, we offer you a 10% discount per month. All previous offers expire with new enrollment.
For your convenience, please choose from our three methods for payment:
Tuition may be paid by 1) automatic debit card/credit card, 2) Full 10 month tuition or 3) a series of postdated checks. No month to month payments. No exceptions to the payment policy.
*Payment by Automatic Debit Card or Automatic Credit Card Charge:
Tuition will be debited or charged to your credit card on the 1st of each month for 10 months; September through and including June. The month of September is nonrefundable. You must sign a debit credit card charge authorization form. Credit card or bank debit payments are not accepted for in-person payment. Payment must be made by preauthorized automatic monthly payment. Only regular monthly tuition may be paid by auto-debit or credit card.
Please note: Declined cards and cancelled cards incur a $20 late fee per month.
*Payment by Full 10 month tuition:
Please pay full annual cost at time of registration. When paying in full in September, please deduct 12% from full 10 month tuition cost.
*Payment by Postdated Checks:
Tuition can be paid by a series of ten postdated checks, dated for the first of each month; September through and including June. Checks should be payable to CORE Academy of Movement. All checks must be received upon registration to confirm enrollment in lesson day and time. No lessons will be confirmed without receipt of all postdated checks. Failure to provide postdated checks will result in an extra fee of $10 per month. All NSF checks will be charged a $20 NSF fee.

BALLET/POINTE:
Students who study Ballet with Pointe may bundle their ballet tuition. All additional disciplines are charged separately- see below:
11-13 yr olds (2 classes per week)...$110 financed monthly
HighSchoolers (2 classes per week of Ballet)...$120 financed monthly

Costumes:Costumes/tights for the Spring Dance Recital will be charged to your automatic debit card or credit card on December 1 with your recital participation and consent form. * Our costumes typically cost between $60-100 and include all items head-to-toe upon pick up. Final costume balance is charged with December payment to ensure delivery in spring. If you are paying by postdated check, a check for the costume/tight fee, dated December 1 must be provided at time of registration. No costume/tight fees will be refunded after January 1 even if a student withdraws from the school.
The final balance for financed costumes is due Jan. 1 and includes all items head-to-toe (tights, costume, accessories, props, extras, steamed, costume checklist) upon pick up.

Withdrawal and Refunds:
We request adequate notification for withdrawal from lessons. No withdrawals accepted after April 1. All unprocessed checks, dated after the one month notice period, will be returned. All automatic debiting or credit card charges will stop after withdrawal notice.
Attendance and Tardiness:
The school reserves the right to have students who come more than 10 minutes late to class, sit out. A minimum attendance level of 80% is required. Illness and family emergency will be taken into account. Students who miss excessive classes in April and May may be removed from the Spring Dance Concert at the Director's discretion.
*Parent's Responsibility to be Aware of Dates and Events:
It is the responsibility of the parent or adult student to be aware of all school activities, such as observation days, recitals, extra classes, and dates the school is open or closed. The school will post all such notices on the lobby bulletin board as well as send notices home with the students and post such information on the web site. It is the parent's responsibility to regularly check these sources to insure they are informed. Please inform the office of any changes in address, account, or phone number.
Injuries:
Parents, legal guardians of minor students and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on school property resulting from normal dance activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during, or after class time.
Policies and Safety Disclaimer: By registering your student with CORE Academy of Movement, LLC, all Parents, Guardians and Students understand and expressly assume all risks involved in connection with dance instruction, rehearsal, and training at CORE Academy of Movement, LLC. ("CORE"), including but not limited to risk of bodily injury occurring as a result of contact with other students, instructors, walls, equipment, floors, and other objects located in or near dance studios, or the Student's physical condition or physical limitations, and the student warrants that they are physically fit and able to participate in all activities involved in dance instruction, rehearsal, and performance and assume the risk of such.
By registering your student with CORE, all Parents, Guardians and Students understand the school policies and regulations regarding tuition payments, scheduling, performance guidelines and day to day management. Failure to abide by these policies which are in place to protect the safety of your student, allows us to remove your student from said activities.
Weather:
The studio will record a voice mail announcement concerning closings for inclement weather by 2pm. Please call the main office 856-778-5955
DRESS CODE:
Required dance wear and dance shoes must be worn to all classes. Failure to wear required dance wear to class could result in students being asked to sit out the class. Repeated failure to wear required dance wear could result in termination of lessons.

Attire:
Intro to Ballet; ages 3-4 - any color footed tights, solid color leotard, leather ballet slippers with elastic - pink for girls and black for boys. Hair must be pulled back off the face. No jewelry or gum. NO SKIRTS, PLEASE!
Tap and Ballet Combo classes; ages 4,5 and 6 - any color tights and solid color leotard. No skirts, please. Black tap shoes and proper fitting pink leather ballet slippers.
Hair must be worn securely off the face. No jewelry or gum.
Tap and Jazz - leotard of any color, tights, tight fitting capri or ankle length pants and black oxford tap or pull on jazz shoes. NO SHORTS. NO MIDRIFFS.
Hair must be pulled back off the face. No jewelry or gum.
Boys - short sleeved white T shirt with ankle length black pants or knee length shorts with black socks. Black tap oxfords or black pull on Jazz shoes
Hip Hop - Jazz dress code and t-shirts or tanks are permitted. NO JEANS. We encourage dancers to wear street sneakers/gym sneakers as they are more supportive than dance sneakers.
Modern - jazz dress code applies. All dancers will be barefoot with pants that cover to the knee or below. No bare legs for floorwork.
Ballet ages 9 and older
Girls: black leotard, pink footed or convertible tights. Properly fitting, pink leather ballet shoes for dancers age 9-11 and pink leather or canvas ballet shoes for dancers 12 and older. Dancers may wear solid color, mid-thigh length skirts. NO COVER-UPS, no tank tops, no baggy clothing permitted in ballet class. Tight fitting ballet sweaters and wraps permitted for barre work. Hair will be worn in bun at the crown of the head, bangs pinned back securely. No gum or jewelry.
NO UNDERWEAR- tights only
Boys: - short sleeved white T shirt with ankle length black pants or knee length shorts with black socks. Black leather or black canvas ballet with elastic.
