Ms. Rachel Neitzke has trained all over the United States since the age of two, and has been dancing professionally since she was 15. She gained much of her professional training through Koresh Dance Company, and prides herself in being a founding member of the Koresh Youth Ensemble. Ms. Rachel graduated from The University of the Arts under the direction of Donna Faye Burchfeild earning a BFA with honors in Dance. While in school she had the opportunity to perform works by world renowned choreographers such as Milton Myers, Andrea Miller/Gallim Dance Company, Mark Haim, Douglas Becker, Tommie Waheed-Evans, Jesse Zarritt, Sidra Bell, Meredith Rainey, and Roni Koresh – among others. Ms. Rachel has been fortunate enough to train in New York City at Joffrey Ballet School’s Jazz/Contemporary Trainee program, under the direction of Michael Blake as well. Ms. Rachel is currently working as a free-lance dancer in New York City and Philadelphia, teaches full time at Philadelphia Performing Arts: A String Theory Charter School, and also coordinates the ballet department here at CORE.
