Tamara De Ment
Tamara is a versatile dancer and sought-after dance educator. Having come from three generations of ballet dancers, she started instruction at a young age with her long-time mentor, Phyllis Papa. After graduating from Stockton University with a degree in the arts, Tamara danced seven consecutive seasons with Atlantic City Ballet, rising from corps de ballet to soloist and principal dancer.
Tamara has been teaching for the last ten years at Atlantic City Ballet Academy as well as Stewart Johnson Dance Academy and the Art of Gymnastics and Cheer. She has also has done work with Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership as well as master classes and workshops across the tri-state area. She has been a featured performer for the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities, and performed for other notable charities such as MANNA at the Shore, and the Hanson Foundation for Women.
